Recent Foot Patrols Mumbles/West Cross

Recently Myself (PCSO GREY) and my Colleague's PCSO's DUNBAR and Nelson have been conducting frequent foot patrols throughout the West Cross and Mumbles areas, providing a visible policing presence and engaging with members of the local community.

It was great to speak with a number of residents, business owners and visitors during patrols. The engagement was overwhelmingly positive, with many people taking the time to stop and chat, discuss local issues and share their views on the area. These conversations continue to be invaluable in helping us understand the concerns and priorities of the community.

The patrols also provided an opportunity to offer reassurance, gather local intelligence and strengthen relationships with those who live and work in the area. It was particularly encouraging to see how supportive and engaged the community is, with residents clearly taking pride in their neighbourhood and wanting to work alongside South Wales Police to keep it a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Overall, it was a very positive day of community engagement and reassurance patrols. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us. Your feedback and local knowledge are greatly appreciated and help shape our ongoing work within the community.
